UNITED STATES1600PennWatch announced today that we are making some cosmetic changes to coincide with the inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States.

Beginning Friday, there will no longer be a link on the top of the page to view articles about outgoing President Obama. These articles can still be found by searching the term ‘President Obama’ in the upper right corner of the screen.

With Trump taking the oath of office, the section with articles about him moves into the slot that used to be occupied by Obama. Clicking this link will bring you to all of the articles on the site about the incoming President.

COVERAGE PLANS FOR ELECTION DAY

1600PennWatch will cover the Inauguration of Trump throughout the day. We will have a running live text post throughout the day keeping you updated on all of the latest happenings from the Inauguration. President Trump is expected to take the oath of office at 12 Noon ET/11 a.m. CT.

We will also have a review of the incoming President’s inaugural address, as well as other coverage as deemed necessary throughout the day. The final piece will be the text of his inaugural address, which will be posted sometime after he finishes his speech.
